Letter from Mayor Kenney & Superintendent Hite
Read this letter to Philadelphia families regarding the disbanding of the School Reform Commission and creation of a local Board of Education.
They are asking Philadelphia families to complete this very brief survey to identify priorities for the future Board.
Ice Cream Sandwiches on Wednesdays
The ICS cafeteria will be selling ice cream sandwiches for 2nd-8th graders starting tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17th and every Wednesday after during lunch. If you want your child to purchase one, please send them to school with .75 cents cash to be payed at the register. Money from school meal accounts cannot be used for this purpose.
Since K-1st grades eat in their classroom, please do not send cash for ice cream for those grades; we will not be selling ice cream in their classrooms.
