IT STARTS WITH YOU
Independence Charter School offers an expanding array of resources and opportunities to our students due in large part to the generosity of donors just like you. We know you understand that the whole community has stake in ensuring the education and global literacy of the next generation.
And we thank you for your continued support!
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUPPORT
We are grateful to work with an ever-growing network of philanthropists who understand that education is a primary vehicle to ensuring global awareness and literacy for future generations to come. There are many ways to join this group of individuals and organizations, who have been invaluable to the continued success of our students.
ICS relies on the generosity of its families, alumni, and friends to ensure our students have well-rounded learning experiences that exemplify our mission. Your donation to the annual appeal will be used to improve student resources, curricular and co-curricular offerings, staff development and learning facilities. Here are just a few examples of what your gift can do:
$2,100 – sponsors a student on ICS’ signature study abroad program Take Flight
$1,000 – upgrades a Spanish classroom library
$500 – upgrades a classroom’s technology
$150 – sponsors a student in an extracurricular activity
$50 – supports Special Education enhancements to classroom
$25 – covers the cost of a student on a field trip
Donations can be made online at independencecharter.org/give or by check/money order made out to Independence Charter School with “Annual Appeal.” Your gift in any amount will go a long way in supporting our students.
2020 Building Campaign
Go Ahead… Write on the Wall!
Construction of our new building is well underway, and we will soon have 25,000 square feet of additional learning and play space for the school community to enjoy.
We know the new cafeteria will quickly become the central hub of activity at ICS—and we want to write your name on its wall for all to see!
In celebration of the new building, Gina Triplett and Matt Curtius (parents of Levi & Juniper) have generously donated a design of an original word-art mural for the cafeteria. And, with a gift of $100 or more, you can contribute to it!
Each gift of $100 to the ICS Building Fund can be recognized with a different name!
- Add your name!
- Add your student’s name!
- Add your favorite teacher’s name!
- Add any name you choose!
To make your permanent mark on the new building by adding a name to the new cafeteria mural, simply click here and complete and return the mural pledge form before May 1, 2020.
All proceeds from the 2020 Building Campaign go to the new building, opening in fall 2020.
If you have questions regarding the 2020 Building Campaign or would like more information about other ways you can support our new ICS building, please contact Tr. Tish by phone at 215-238-8000 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
