The lottery application for new students for the 2020-2021 school year closes in two weeks and is located on our website through January 27, 2020, Apply Philly Charter. Please share the application widely to help get the word out about ICS!

All students are invited to participate by giving their extra coins! From now until January 31st, students can collect spare change at home and in their neighborhoods to be donated to support the people of Puerto Rico.

Students should bring their extra coins to school in a sealed container or Ziploc bag with their name & teacher’s name during the week of January 27-31. Teachers will be collecting the raised funds during that week only.

It’s a new year with new opportunities to help our wonderful ICS students!

The lottery application for new students for the 2020-2021 school year is available on our website through January 27, 2020, Apply Philly Charter.  Please share the application widely to help get the word out about ICS! If you have a student who qualifies for sibling preference (siblings must share a legal parent/guardian and share a household, and one sibling must be attending ICS at time of lottery drawing), you must apply using the lottery application, and you must apply by the January 27 deadline.

The Phillies will celebrate educators in the region who are making a difference on May 1, 2020, during the 20th annual Teacher Appreciation Night powered by Constellation . Each year, the Phillies select 10 area teachers, nominated by current and former students, parents and peers, to honor as All-Star Teachers. Submissions will be accepted beginning on January 6, 2020. Nominate Here!

MVP360 Youth Soccer 2020– Lighthouse “Fair-Play” Soccer Program! Fair Play will run soccer sessions on Saturdays, and Tuesdays, Thursdays evenings. After school during weekday sessions and mornings on Saturdays MVP360 will continue to run on Saturdays ONLY. Dates: March 28 to June 16. Cost: $45.00 per child Groups: *Fair Play: Boys and Girls Ages 8-14 *MVP360: Boys and Girls Ages 4-7. Deadline: March 7th, 2020, Register Here.

Film and Media Youth Expo: Live performances, free headshots, live performances and more! January 25th, 2020 1pm-5pm. Purchase $5 ticket online or at the door.

Tenth Presbyterian Church– Affordable beginning/intermediate violin, viola and cello classes are being offered to all interested 7 to 17 year-old students.
